Possible errors in flux measurements due to limited digitalization

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the influence of the limited digitalization of gasanalysers and sonic anemometers used in the 1990s on carbon dioxide uptake and found that the influence on the annual ecosystem exchange is negligible, because other errors resulting from gap filling routines are much larger.
Book ChapterDOI

Modeling of Energy and Matter Exchange

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe different types of models and their limitations, from simple analytical methods up to numerical models of near-surface energy and matter transport, and the application of models in heterogeneous terrain receives special attention.

Klimawandel in Oberfranken

TL;DR: In this article, a linearer trend der Jahresmittelwerte der Lufttemperaturen von 1.3 K in 40 years (1961 bis 2000) festgestellt werden.

Eddy-Covariance Measurements

TL;DR: The eddy-covariance method represents the only direct way to measure the turbulent fluxes of momentum, temperature, trace gases, and particles between the land surface and the atmosphere as discussed by the authors.
