TL;DR: The findings reveal that emotional dissonance and workload were negatively linked to sleep quality and relaxation, which were, in turn, related to lower levels of presenteeism and emotional exhaustion, and suggest that recovery processes may be important factors to focus on.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined within-person and within-sample stability of need satisfaction profiles over a three-month period among a sample of 1319 nurses and found that the key driver of the most adaptive functioning was the presence of balanced levels of global and specific need satisfaction of at least a moderate magnitude.
