Journal ArticleDOI

A structural polymer for highly efficient all-day passive radiative cooling.

TL;DR: In this article, a hierarchical porous array polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) film with a micropore array combined with random nanopores for highly efficient day and nighttime passive radiative cooling is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of mesoporous silica-shell/oil-core microspheres for common waterborne polymer coatings with robust superhydrophobicity

TL;DR: In this paper, a mesoporous silica-shell/oil-core microspheres (SOMs) were synthesized using silicone oils as templates, and they were used as fillers for non-silicon and non-fluorine common waterborne resin systems such as waterborne polyurethane.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of biomimetic hair-like composite coatings with water-collecting and superamphiphobic properties

TL;DR: In this article, magnetic Fe3O4 particles and resin were sprayed to construct hierarchical scales of texture, and 1H,1H, 2H,2H-perfluorodecyltriethoxysilane was used to reduce surface free energy, and a biomimetic hair-like composite coating was prepared.
