Mengenal emosi melalui komunikasi nonverbal

College students deal with various events that can increase stress levels and negatively impact their lives. The study aimed to investigate the effect of solution-focused brief counseling (SFBC) on reducing college students' stress levels. The hypothesis suggested a decrease after comparing the stress level with SFBC before the intervention. The Participants consisted of 6 active postgraduate psychology students with moderate and high-stress levels. Furthermore, the study used a one-group pretest-posttest design, and the data were obtained through the Stress Scale for College Students (SSCS) and interview. The intervention used SFBC, and was conducted in four meetings. In analyzing the data, the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was used to determine the difference in experimental group values between before and after the intervention. The result showed that there are differences in stress levels before and after the procedure, and its drastic decrease in participants was observed after the intervention.

Investigation of Solution Focused-Brief Counseling's effect on reducing the stress levels of college students

Student of nurse profession has a responsibility in running clinical practice to get the competence target and academic assignment. Many activities and events of professional students tend to take time to rest and sleep that impact on the emergence of disruption caused less fulfilled needs rest and sleep. This study aimed to describe the overview of sleep quality of profession student nurses of school of nursing Diponegoro University and STIKES Ngudi Waluyo. The design of this research was a descriptive survey with 131 respondent. This research used PSQI questionnaire and have tested the validity with results of alpha Cronbach was 0,83. The result showed that students had poor sleep quality (94,6%). More than half the students had mild sleep disorders (54.2%) and they had a sleep duration <5 hours (53.4%). Based on the results that majority of profession student nurses are having problems such as mild sleep disorders and short sleep duration. Students need to time management in order activities goes well and needs adequate rest and sleep so the performance and concentration can be maintained.

Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic was soon declared a global health threat and had significant economic and health implications. Unprecedented government measures brought massive shifts in teaching-learning pedagogy in nursing to curb the infection. The study was conducted to explore the predictors of pandemic fatigue among nursing undergraduates and mediating role of individual resilience and coping styles during the third wave in India. Methods This online survey included 256 undergraduate nursing students studying at Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital in North India. Lockdown/Pandemic Fatigue Questionnaire, Brief Resilience Scale, and Coping Behavior Questionnaire were used to collect the information. Appropriate descriptive and inferential statistics were applied to compute the results. Results Nursing undergraduates reported a moderate level of fatigue during the restrictions imposed at the time of the third wave. Students’ year of study (p = 0.001), tested positive during pandemic (p = 0.003), and post-COVID-19 hospitalization (p = 0.026) were found associated with higher fatigue status. Advanced age (p = 0.046) and higher personal resilience status (p < 0.001) were associated with lower fatigue levels. Resilience status (ß = − 4.311 p < 0.001) and second year of study (ß = 3.198, p = 0.015) were reported as independent predictors of pandemic fatigue in students. Conclusion Findings suggest that lockdown-related fatigue was common in nursing undergraduates. Considering negative consequences on mental health, routine psychosocial screening of the nursing students should be conducted. Recommending stress-relieving measures should be enforced to help nursing undergraduates to combat lockdown-induced exhaustion.

Pandemic Fatigue in Nursing Undergraduates: Role of Individual Resilience and Coping Styles in Health Promotion

Bullying behavior is a behavior that many found among people in recent times. Many argue that bullying behaviors include behaviors that aim to intimidate others, discredit others, and even injure others. Different forms of bullying behaviors, some of which include bullying, threatening, mocking, calling offensive calls, and isolating or alienating others in a group. There are many impacts of bullying behavior, including individuals who become inferior, depressed, depressed, or even self-rebellious and revengeful. Such impacts will be harmful to others as well as to the individuals concerned. Therefore it is necessary to attempt to overcome the bullying behavior. One way that can be used is through the application of group guidance with sociodrama technique. Sociodrama is one of group guidance techniques. Through sociodrama, individuals will be invited to play a role to train their ability to deal with bullying behavior in accordance with the drama theme being played.

BACKGROUND: The nursing students should ideally represent relevant and skillful behavior in developing science Recently, the classical teaching and learning process involving interaction between students was shifted into online learning due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic That ideal condition could not be reached As a result, the online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic triggers students to deal with stressors such as academic assignments, the difficulty in adapting to home environment, no face-to-face meeting with the fellow students AIM: The researcher was aimed to analyze students’ coping strategies for burnout and fatigue from online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic METHODS: It was a quantitative research with a descriptive correlation design and cross-sectional approach The population of the research was the students in the second semester of the undergraduate program in nursing Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang The sample of the research was 83 respondents, which were taken using a purposive sampling technique RESULTS: Most of the nursing students were positive coping with 47 respondents (56 6%), severe burnout with 71 respondents (85 5%), and fatigue was found in 40 respondents (48 2%);meanwhile, the rest 43 respondents (52 8%) did not experience fatigue Base on Pearson test, there was a significant correlate between nursing students coping and fatigue (0 00) with moderate correlation at 0 518, although no correlation coping with burnout CONCLUSION: It is expected for the institution to conduct training about more interactive online learning accessible by the student and train a positive coping mechanism to cope with burnout and fatigue © 2021 Tri Nurhidayati, Desy Ariyana Rahayu, Dera Alfiyanti

Nursing students’ coping for burnout and fatigue online learning during coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic

Demensia merupakan gejala menurunnya daya ingat, berpikir, berperilaku, dan kemampuan melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Hilangnya kapasitas intelektual pada demensia tidak hanya terjadi pada memori, tetapi juga pada kognitif dan kepribadian. Salah satu upaya pencegahan penurunan kognitif pada demensia pada lansia adalah dengan melakukan senam otak. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan proses asuhan keperawatan pada dua lansia sebagai subjek studi. Subjek studi diambil berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi kemudian dilakukan intervensi selama seminggu dengan memberikan tindakan keperawatan berupa senam otak selama 15 menit setiap satu kali dalam sehari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan asuhan keperawatan. Fungsi kognitif diukur dengan menggunakan instrumen Mini Mental State Exam (MMSE). Hasil studi menunjukkan senam otak dapat meningkatkan fungsi kognitif pada lansia demensia yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan skor MMSE pada kedua subjek studi. Kesimpulan dari studi ini yaitu setelah dilakukan intervensi senam otak selama seminggu, skor MMSE meningkat dengan kisaran 0-16. Intervensi senam otak ini dapat direkomendasikan secara teratur bagi lansia agar dapat meningkatkan fungsi kognitif secara optimal.

Kurang aktifitas fisik merupakan faktor risiko timbulnya berbagai penyakit pada populasi lansia. Proses menua akan menimbulkan masalah gangguan pada fungsi muskuluskeletal yang sering muncul yaitu nyeri pada sendi yang membuat para lansia mengalami ganguan dalam aktivitasnya. Salah satu tindakan keperawatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi nyeri sendi menggunakan teknik relaksasi otot progresif. Studi kasus ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sampel diambil dengan tehnik Convenience Sampling 2 lansia dan dikelola selama 3 hari dengan pemberian tindakan keperawatan berupa terapi relaksasi otot progresif dengan frekuensi 1 kali/hari selama 20 menit. Pengumpulan data menggunakan buku status PM, wawancara, observasi dan metode proses keperawatan. Alat untuk skala nyeri menggunakan Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Terdapat penurunan terapi relaksasi otot progresif pada tingkat skala nyeri lansia yang mengalami nyeri sendi kronis dengan menunjukan hasil dari skala nyeri sedang turun menjadi skala nyeri ringan. Terapi relaksasi otot progresif mampu menurunkan nyeri sendi yang dialami lansia.

The frequency distribution test results obtained that 250 teachers were in the sufficient category in anticipating bullying prevention and 3 teachers were still in the poor category. The study aims to determine the anticipation of bullying in the school environment.
