Macdonald,T.D. Macdonald,M. R. Pearson,B.E. Schultz,M.C. Simon,Roman Senkov,Vanessa V. Simon,Vanessa V. Simon,Kai Zuber,Jens Dilling,Jens Dilling +24 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported a direct measurement of the Q-value of the neutrinoless double-beta-decay candidate 48Ca at the TITAN Penning-trap mass spectrometer, with the result that Q = 4267.98(32) keV.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the first direct Q-value measurement of the Ga 71 ( ν, e − ) Ge 71 reaction using the TITAN mass-measurement facility at ISAC/TRIUMF.
Journal ArticleDOI

Holt,Javier Fernandez Menendez,J. Simonis,Achim Schwenk,Jens Dilling,Jens Dilling +34 more
TL;DR: These measurements reduce the uncertainties in the masses of (20,21)Mg by 15 and 22 times, respectively, resulting in a significant departure from the expected behavior of the isobaric multiplet mass equation in both the A = 20 and A = 21 multiplets.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evidence for the extinction of the N=20 neutron-shell closure for 32 Mg from direct mass measurements
A. Chaudhuri,Corina Andreoiu,T. Brunner,T. Brunner,U. Chowdhury,U. Chowdhury,S. Ettenauer,S. Ettenauer,Aaron Gallant,Aaron Gallant,Gerald Gwinner,A.A. Kwiatkowski,A. Lennarz,A. Lennarz,D. Lunney,T.D. Macdonald,T.D. Macdonald,B.E. Schultz,M.C. Simon,Vanessa V. Simon,Vanessa V. Simon,Jens Dilling,Jens Dilling +22 more
TL;DR: The smallest observed shell gap for any nuclide with a canonical magic number is 1.10(3) MeV in this article, which is the smallest known MeV for any species with a magic number.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lunney,Alfredo Poves,Alfredo Poves,Jens Dilling,Jens Dilling +28 more
TL;DR: In this article, the two-neutron separation energy was found to be 24.8(10.8) keV less than that of the Mg isotopes in the island of inversion.
