Magnetic, spectroscopic, structural and biological properties of mixed-ligand complexes of copper(II) with N, N, N', N , N -pentamethyldiethylenetriamine and polypyridine ligands

TL;DR: In this paper, two new mixed ligand complexes of copper(II) with polypyridine ligands have been prepared and characterized by means of spectroscopic, magnetic and single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vermicompost from biodegraded distillation waste improves soil properties and essential oil yield of Pogostemon cablin (patchouli) Benth

TL;DR: In this article, a consortium of microbes viz. Trichoderma harzianum, Pseudomonas monteilii, Bacillus megaterium and Azotobacter chroococcum were pre-treated with patchouli lignocellullosic distillation waste.
Journal ArticleDOI

X-ray, spectral and biological (antimicrobial and superoxide dismutase) studies of oxalato bridged CuII-NiII and CuII-ZnII complexes with pentamethyldiethylenetriamine as capping ligand.

TL;DR: The [(PMDT)Cu-Ox-Ni(PMDT)](2+) shows the ESR spectrum of the antiferromagnetic spin exchange with each dinuclear delocalization of the unpaired electron over the unit and spin-doublet ground state which demonstrates the Cu- Ox-Ni core.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterization and biological activity of ternary copper(II) complexes containing polypyridyl ligands

TL;DR: Ternary copper(II) complexes involving polypyridyl ligands in the coordination sphere of composition and the presence of a distorted square pyramidal geometry in the complex have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, X-band e.p.r. Spectroscopy and electronic spectroscopy.
