In this paper we introduce metric-based means for the space of positive-definite matrices. The mean associated with the Euclidean metric of the ambient space is the usual arithmetic mean. The mean associated with the Riemannian metric corresponds to the geometric mean. We discuss some invariance properties of the Riemannian mean and we use differential geometric tools to give a characterization of this mean.

Next we consider second-order parallel tensor with respect to the quarter-symmetric non-metric connection. Quarter-Symmetric Nonmetric Connection on -Sasakian Manifolds

The purpose of the present paper is to study generalized M -projectively recurrent manifolds. Some geometric properties of generalized M -projectively recurrent manifolds have been studied under certain curvature conditions. An application of such a manifold in the theory of relativity has also been shown. Finally, we give an example of a generalized M -projectively recurrent manifold.
