In situ non-DLVO stabilization of surfactant-free, plasmonic gold nanoparticles: effect of Hofmeister's anions.

TL;DR: Quantification of surface charge density indicated that particle stabilization is dominated by ion adsorption and not by surface oxidation, which clearly demonstrate that stabilization of ligand-free gold nanoparticles scales proportionally with polarizability and antiproportionally with hydration of anion located at defined positions in a direct Hofmeister sequence of anions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct self-assembly of Fe2O3/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite for high-performance lithium-ion batteries

TL;DR: In this article, a self-assembly of oppositely charged Fe2O3 nanoparticles (NPs) and graphene oxide (GO) sheets, followed with a low-temperature hydrothermal reduction process, is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

3D atomic-scale imaging of mixed Co-Fe spinel oxide nanoparticles during oxygen evolution reaction

TL;DR: In this article , the 3D structure of 10 nm sized Co2FeO4 and CoFe2O4 nanoparticles during oxygen evolution reaction (OER) was investigated.
Journal Article

Direct self-assembly of Fe₂O₃/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite for high-performance lithium-ion batteries

TL;DR: In this paper, a self-assembly of oppositely charged Fe₂O₃ nanoparticles (NPs) and graphene oxide (GO) sheets was used to construct a low-temperature hydrothermal reduction process.
