Magnetic properties of rare-earth manganese compounds of the RMn6Ge6 type
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic properties of several compounds of the type RMn 6 Ge 6 (R is a heavy rare-earth element) were determined and the magnetic behavior of these compounds was described as bootstrap ferrimagnetism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Possible ferrimagnetic coupling in light-rare-earth transition-metal intermetallic compounds
TL;DR: In this paper, the possibility of fenimagnetic coupling between the magnetic moments of the light-rare earth (Nd, Pr) ions and of the transition-metal (Fe) ions in NdrGa3Fe11- and Pr6Ga3 Fe11-based compounds is deduced from the high-field magnetization curves measured at 4.2 K on magnetically aligned and on free-powder samples and from the temperature dependence of the magnetization.
