Investigation of kinetics of methane hydrate formation during isobaric and isochoric processes in an agitated reactor

TL;DR: In this paper, the mass transfer in the liquid side of the contact area of gas-liquid has been shown to control the gas consumption in hydrate formation from methane, and two types of experiments have been conducted in a stirred vessel to indicate that the gas uptake rate is independent of the number of hydrate particles and their total area.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of Henry’s law constant of light hydrocarbon gases at low temperatures

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified Krichevsky-Kasarnovsky equation is proposed to consider the effect of pressure and temperature on the equation parameters, and it is deduced that pressure has a considerable effect on Henry's law constant for methane, ethane, and propane, whereas this dependency for butanes is negligible.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental study on gas hydrate formation from natural gas mixture

TL;DR: In this paper, gas consumption by clathrate hydrate from mixture of natural gas at different pressures and temperatures (275.15-287.25 K and 1.1-5.4 MPa) is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solubility measurement of carbon dioxide in water in the presence of gas hydrate

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the mole fraction of hydrate former gases in the liquid phase and reported that the solubility of CO 2 in water (during hydrate formation) is relatively close to the same temperature but corresponding equilibrium pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Monotone and pseudo-monotone equilibrium problems in hadamard spaces

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors study the existence of solutions of equilibrium problems associated with pseudo-monotone bifunctions with suitable conditions on the bifunction in Hadamard spaces.
