Composite particle algorithm for sustainable integrated dynamic ship routing and scheduling optimization
Arijit De,Vamsee Krishna Mamanduru,Angappa Gunasekaran,Nachiappan Subramanian,Manoj Kumar Tiwari +4 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that the carbon emission, fuel cost and fuel consumption constraints can be comfortably added to the mathematical model for encapsulating the sustainability dimensions.
Journal ArticleDOI
An evolutionary algorithmic approach to determine the Nash equilibrium in a duopoly with nonlinearities and constraints
TL;DR: Through the paper it is explicitly demonstrated how EAA can solve games with constrained payoff functions that cannot be dealt with by traditional analytical methods, demonstrating the resilience and rigor of the EAA solution approach.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Using a particle swarm optimization approach to examine a competitive production situation constrained by sustainable levels of pollution
TL;DR: This paper uses a composite particle swarm optimization technique to determine an equilibrium solution to a non-cooperative duopoly game where sustainable pollution constraints exist and compares the results obtained with those obtained analytically thus demonstrating that the algorithmic approach is resilient and rigorous.
