Journal ArticleDOI

Chaotic inflation on the brane with induced gravity

TL;DR: In this article, the slow-roll inflationary dynamics in a self-gravitating induced gravity braneworld model with a bulk cosmological constant was studied and important corrections to the four-dimensional Friedmann equation were found.
Journal ArticleDOI

Black Hole Solutions in Braneworlds with Induced Gravity

TL;DR: In this paper, an analysis of a spherically symmetric braneworld configuration is performed when the intrinsic curvature scalar is included in the bulk action, and a nonuniversal gravitational constant arises, depending on the density of the considered object and the Newton's law is modified for small and large distances; however, the conventional limits are easily obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regularization of conical singularities in warped six-dimensional compactifications

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the regularization of the codimension-2 singularities in six-dimensional axisymmetric models with warping, where the singularities are replaced by branes of a ring form.
Journal ArticleDOI

Regularization of conical singularities in warped six-dimensional compactifications

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the regularization of the codimension-2 singularities in six-dimensional axisymmetric models with warping, where the singularities are replaced by branes of a ring form.
Journal ArticleDOI

Induced cosmology on a regularized brane in six-dimensional flux compactification

TL;DR: In this paper, a six-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell system compactified in an axisymmetric two-dimensional space with one capped regularized conical brane of codimension one was considered.
