Prognostic Value of Tumor-Infiltrating Lymphocytes in Triple-Negative Breast Cancers From Two Phase III Randomized Adjuvant Breast Cancer Trials: ECOG 2197 and ECOG 1199
Sylvia Adams,Robert Gray,Sandra Demaria,Lori J. Goldstein,Edith A. Perez,Lawrence N. Shulman,Silvana Martino,Molin Wang,Vicky Jones,Thomas J. Saphner,Antonio C. Wolff,William C. Wood,Nancy E. Davidson,George W. Sledge,Joseph A. Sparano,Sunil Badve +15 more
TL;DR: It is confirmed that stromal lymphocytic infiltration constitutes a robust prognostic factor in TNBCs and studies assessing outcomes and therapeutic efficacies should consider stratification for this parameter.
Journal ArticleDOI
Weekly Paclitaxel in the Adjuvant Treatment of Breast Cancer
Joseph A. Sparano,Joseph A. Sparano,Molin Wang,Silvana Martino,Vicky Jones,Edith A. Perez,Tom Saphner,Antonio C. Wolff,George W. Sledge,William C. Wood,Nancy E. Davidson +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the efficacy of two different taxanes, docetaxel and paclitaxel, given either weekly or every 3 weeks, in the adjuvant treatment of breast cancer was compared.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors validate the prognostic impact of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) in primary triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) in two adjuvant phase III trials conducted by the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG).
Journal ArticleDOI
Fatigue, sleep, and circadian rhythms prior to chemotherapy for breast cancer
Sonia Ancoli-Israel,Lianqi Liu,Lianqi Liu,Matthew Marler,Matthew Marler,Barbara A. Parker,Barbara A. Parker,Vicky Jones,Georgia Robins Sadler,Georgia Robins Sadler,Georgia Robins Sadler,Joel E. Dimsdale,Joel E. Dimsdale,Joel E. Dimsdale,Mairav Cohen-Zion,Lavinia Fiorentino +15 more
TL;DR: Sleep, fatigue, and circadian rhythms in women with breast cancer before the start of chemotherapy are examined to suggest that strategies to improve disturbed sleep and to phase-advance circadian rhythms prior to initiation of chemotherapy may be beneficial in improving daily function in breast cancer patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
The relationship between fatigue and sleep in cancer patients: a review.
TL;DR: This review summarizes the state of the literature on fatigue, sleep and circadian rhythms in cancer patients and posit that some degree of cancer-related fatigue experienced during the day may relate to sleep/wake cycles or to the quality and quantity of sleep obtained at night.
