Essential Relativistic Celestial Mechanics

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a special theory of relativity for the weak gravitational field and a theory of the singularity of the Earth's magnetic field. But the theory is restricted to a single body problem and is not applicable to other bodies.
Journal ArticleDOI

The IAU 2000 resolutions for astrometry, celestial mechanics and metrology in the relativistic framework: explanatory supplement

TL;DR: The IAU Resolutions B1.3, B 1.4, B1 1.5 and B1 2.9 (2000) were adopted during the 24th General Assembly in Manchester, 2000 and provides details and explanations for these resolutions as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Secular increase of astronomical unit from analysis of the major planet motions, and its interpretation

TL;DR: In this article, a model of the observables developed in the frame of the relativistic background metric of the uniform isotropic universe is presented, showing that the corresponding dynamical perturbations in the major planet motions are completely canceled out by the Einstein effect of dependence of the rate of the observer's clock (that keeps the proper time) on the gravitational field.
