Proceedings ArticleDOI

Three-dimensional echocardiography based evaluation of right ventricular remodeling in patients with pressure overload

TL;DR: Curvature analysis using 3DE allows quantitative evaluation of RV remodeling, which could be used to track diferential changes in regional RV shape, as a way to assess disease progression or regression.
Journal Article

Automated tracking of deformable objects based on non-rigid registration of cardiac images

TL;DR: An automated technique for non-rigid image registration as a basis for tracking the heart in contrast-enhanced cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) image sequences is developed and may thus be successfully used for deformable object tracking in cardiac image sequences.
Journal ArticleDOI

Quantitative detection of changes in regional wall motion using real time strain-encoded cardiovascular magnetic resonance.

TL;DR: In this article, a multi-center study showed that changes in regional longitudinal and circumferential strain detected using SENC under intermediate-dose dobutamine stress CMR would precede changes in wall thickening visible on cine-CMR images.
