Fracture analysis of functionally graded material by hybrid meshless displacement discontinuity method
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a hybrid Meshless Displacement Discontinuity Method (MDDM) for a cracked structure with functionally graded materials, where the fundamental solutions of displacement discontinuity for an isotropic homogenous body form a part of the general solutions for non-homogenous materials, in order to create the gap on the crack surface.
Journal ArticleDOI
The FEM analysis of FGM piezoelectric semiconductor problems
TL;DR: In this article, the finite element method is developed for 3D general boundary value problems for a piezoelectric semiconductor with functionally graded material properties, and the electron density and electric current are additionally considered in the constitutive equations for PSSs.
Journal ArticleDOI
N‐Benzyl Substitution of Polyhydroxypyrrolidines: The Way to Selective Inhibitors of Golgi α‐Mannosidase II
Sergej Šesták,Maroš Bella,Tomáš Klunda,Soňa Gurská,Petr Džubák,Florian Wöls,Iain B. H. Wilson,Vladimir Sladek,Marian Hajduch,Monika Poláková,Juraj Kóňa +10 more
TL;DR: A series of novel N‐substituted polyhydroxypyrrolidines was synthesized and tested with modeled GH38 α‐mannosidases from Drosophila melanogaster and showed inhibitory activities in in vitro assays with cancer cell lines and low cytotoxic activities in normal fibroblast cell lines (IC50>200 μm).
Journal ArticleDOI
Computation of nearly singular integrals in 3D BEM
TL;DR: In this article, a general methodology for numerical evaluation of the nearly singular 2D integrals over the eight-node second-order quadrilateral geometry elements arising in 3D BEM is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
MLPG Analysis of Layered Composites with Piezoelectric and Piezomagnetic Phases
TL;DR: In this paper, a meshless method based on the local Petrov-Galerkin approach is proposed, to solve static and dynamic problems of two-layered magnetoelectroelastic composites with specific properties.
