TL;DR: The I = 2 s-wave and d-wave phase shifts σs2and σd2 have been determined in the ππ mass region 0.5-1.5 GeV/c2 in four mass bins of width 0.25 GeV /c2, using a sample of 17 500 events from a wire chamber experiment as discussed by the authors.
