e+e− Production of heavy quarks in the string model

TL;DR: The string model of Artru and Mennessier predicts the fragmentation functions for mesons containing heavy quarks are concentrated near fractional momentumz∼1, with width ∼1/μ where μ is the mass of the heavy quark as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Jet Production and Fragmentation in E+e- Annihilation at 12-43 Gev

M. Althoff, +109 more
TL;DR: In this article, the general properties of jets produced by E+e− annihilation were studied with charged particles for c.m. energies between 12 and 43 GeV and the multiplicity distributions for the overall event as well as for each event hemisphere satisfy KNO scaling to within ∼20%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coulomb corrections to Bose-Einstein corrections have greatly exaggerated

TL;DR: The zero range Gamow factor is not a good representation of the effect of Coulomb corrections on measured two particle correlation functions and it is shown in this article that Coulomb correction are entangled with others.
