Elastic electron deuteron scattering on a tensor polarized solid ND-3 target
B. Boden,Volker D. Burkert,G. Knop,G. Kroesen,M. Leenen,W. Mehnert,R. Sauerwein,H.-D. Schablitzky,H.H. Schmitz,K.H. Althoff,R. Dostert,T. Hewel,O. Kaul,E. Kohlgarth,W. Meyer,E. P. Schilling,W. Thiel +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the deuteron scattering at the Bonn 2.5 GeV electron-synchrotron using a tensor polarised ND3 target was measured at an average value of four momentum transfer of Q2 = 0.495 (GeV/c)2 in order to separate the electric monopole and quadrupole form factors of deuterons.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ammonia as a polarized solid target material—a review
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reviewed the efforts towards dynamically polarized ammonia and deuterated ammonia (d-ammonia) with their reasonable high polarizable nucleon contents (quality factor).

Journal ArticleDOI
Positive pion photoproduction from hydrogen at photon energies between 500 MeV and 1,400 MeV in forward direction.
K.H. Althoff,Gisela Anton,B. Bock,D. Bour,W. Ferber,H. W. Gelhausen,T. Jahnen,O. Kaul,D. Menze,W. Meyer,T. Miczaika,R. Müller,E. Roderburg,W. Ruhm,E. P. Schilling,W. J. Schwille,D. Sundermann,K. Wagener +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the pions were detected in a magnetic spectrometer and the differential cross section of the reactionγ+p→π+ was measured at pion CM-angles of 20° and 30° for photon energies between 500 MeV and 1,400 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Observation of new resonant structures in the natural spin-parity strange meson system
D. Aston,R.K. Carnegie,W. Dunwoodie,S. Durkin,P. Estabrooks,T. Fieguth,R. J. Hemingway,A. Honma,D. Hutchinson,W.B. Johnson,P. Kunz,T.A. Lasinski,D. W. G. S. Leith,L. Levinson,R. McKee,A. C. McPherson,W. Meyer,Gerald Oakham,B.N. Ratcliff,R. Richter,S. L. Shapiro,Ryszard Stroynowski,S. Suzuki,S. H. Williams,J. Va'vra +24 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an energy independent partial wave analysis of the LASS spectrometer at SLAC has been conducted, which yields unique K−π+ elastic scatering partila wave amplitudes in the Kπ invariant mass region from 0.7 GeV to 1.8 GeV, and two distinguishable sets of amplitudes between 1.6 and 2.3 GeV.
