Observation of Exclusive Decay Modes of B Flavored Mesons

TL;DR: In this paper, the charged-$B$ mass is 5270.0 MeV and the neutral-$B $ mass was 5274.5 MeV. The charged/$B$-meson decays to final states consisting of a ${D}^{0}$ or ${D]^{*\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ and one or two charged pions have been observed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of new structure in the e+e- cross section above the Upsilon (4S).

TL;DR: Measurements of the e/sup +/e/sup -/ cross section above BB-bar threshold are reported and average charged multiplicities and inclusive lepton yields are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Limit on the b. -->. u coupling from semileptonic B decay

TL;DR: In this paper, the momentum spectrum of leptons produced in semileptonic B-meson decays was used to set a 90%-confidence-level upper limit on GAMMA(b..-->..ul..nu..)/GAMMA( b..-->.cl..nu).
Journal ArticleDOI

The CLEO detector

TL;DR: The construction and performance of a large aperture magnetic detector designed for use at the Cornell Electon Storage Ring is described in this article, where the detector was used to detect magnetic signals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for the F meson at 1970 MeV

TL;DR: In this article, evidence is presented for a narrow meson resonance of mass 1970\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}5\ifmode\mm\p\pn\pf{} 5 MeV produced in a continuum at a constant ratio of 10.5 GeV, and decaying into a επ and a ϵπ.
