Journal ArticleDOI

Electrochemical Frequency Modulation: A New Electrochemical Technique for Online Corrosion Monitoring

TL;DR: In this paper, a potential perturbation signal by one or more sine waves will generate current responses at more frequencies than the corresponding sine wave wave wave frequencies, which is a nonlinear electrochemical phenomenon.
Journal ArticleDOI

Materials for photothermal solar energy conversion

TL;DR: In this article, a review of available published literature has indicated that a lack of quantitative information exists, relative to corrosion of collector surfaces, and available information (mostly qualitative) on durability aspects and corrosion of solar receiver surfaces is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

The physical meaning of noise resistance

TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical derivation of the noise resistance in electrochemical noise measurements is presented, based on the principal electrochemical theory, and it is shown that noise resistance is indeed equivalent to the polarization resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Liquid metal corrosion of T91 and A316L materials in Pb-Bi eutectic at temperatures 400-600 °C

TL;DR: In this paper, the corrosion resistance of T91 and A316L materials was tested in a stagnant liquid lead-bismuth eutectic (LBE) environment, where the materials were exposed for 175, 500, 1250, 2300 and 3000 h at temperatures from 425 to 600 °C under 5%H2 + Ar cover gas atmosphere.
Journal ArticleDOI

A theoretical study of AC-induced corrosion considering diffusion phenomena

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of AC-induced voltages on corrosion was investigated and it was shown that the influence of the voltage on the corrosion behavior strongly depended on the Tafel parameters.
