Journal ArticleDOI

Domestic Job Shortage or Job Maldistribution? A Geographic Analysis of the Current Radiation Oncology Job Market.

TL;DR: A disproportionately small number of opportunities compared with graduates trained in the Northeast, as well as a significant regional imbalance of academic versus nonacademic jobs are found in the RO job market.
Journal ArticleDOI

A phase II study of cetuximab (C225) in combination with chemoradiation (CRT) in patients (pts) with stage III A/B non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC): An interim report of the RTOG 0324 trial

TL;DR: A phase II trial testing the combination of C225 with CRT in unresectable stage III NSCLC with a planned sample size of 84 PTS finds radiosensitization following molecular inhibition of EGFR signaling is demonstrated.
Journal Article

MR of brain radiation injury: experimental studies in cats.

TL;DR: Two of six cats receiving small-field, single-dose, brain irradiation of 35 Gy with 6 MeV photons developed brain abnormalities in the irradiated area on MR images at 6 and 8 months, respectively, after treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biomechanically constrained non-rigid MR-TRUS prostate registration using deep learning based 3D point cloud matching.

TL;DR: The results demonstrated that the proposed method could rapidly perform MR-TRUS image registration with good registration accuracy and robustness and the method to point cloud noise was evaluated by adding different levels of noise to the query point clouds.
