Journal ArticleDOI

A level set method for structural topology optimization and its applications

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered the multi-material and multi-constraint problems, and investigated the topology optimization algorithm by using the different material representation models, and broadened its application from stiff structure designs and compliant mechanism designs to material designs by a number of benchmark examples.
Journal ArticleDOI

A level set method for structural topology optimization with multi-constraints and multi-materials

TL;DR: The numerical examples demonstrate that the level set method possesses a good flexibility in handling topological changes and gives an interface representation in a high fidelity, compared with other methods based on explicit boundary variations in the literature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Machining localization and quality evaluation of parts with sculptured surfaces using SQP method

TL;DR: In this article, a unified algorithm for workpiece localization and quality evaluation is presented, which is based on sequential quadratic programming (SQP) and linear differential motion model.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Space-aero Bistatic Forward-look SAR

TL;DR: A novel mode of space-aero bistatic SAR, in which the spaceborne transmitter is side-look and the airborne receiver is forward-look, is studied and the equidistance line of this mode is quite similar to that of squint SAR, which enables the transplantation of existed well-rounded imaging algorithm ofSquint SAR to this mode.
