Microporous metal–organic framework with dual functionalities for highly efficient removal of acetylene from ethylene/acetylene mixtures

TL;DR: A microporous metal–organic framework in which the suitable pore/cage spaces preferentially take up much more acetylene than ethylene while the functional amine groups on the pore-cage surfaces further enforce their interactions with acetylene molecules, leading to its superior performance for this separation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Utilizing transient breakthroughs for evaluating the potential of Kureha carbon for CO2 capture

TL;DR: In this paper, commercial Kureha carbon was used as an adsorbent for the selective adsorption of CO2 over N2 and CH4 and the single component isotherms were reported at pressures up to 2500 kPa and at 298, 310, and 323 kPa.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of mesoporous mordenite for the hydroisomerization of n-hexane

TL;DR: A mesoporous mordenite (MOR) zeolite was prepared from a commercially available MOR sample by a sequential acid-alkaline-acid post-treatment as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of the Support-Crystal Size on the Catalytic Performance of RuO2/TiO2 in the Deacon Process

TL;DR: In this paper, RuO2/TiO2 catalysts with different TiO2 crystal sizes were prepared via a dry impregnation method, and these prepared catalysts were applied in the oxidation of HCl.

CaF2 material for absorbing trace water in HF gas and preparation method thereof

TL;DR: In this paper, a CaF2 material for absorbing trace water in HF gas and a preparation method thereof is presented. But the method is not suitable for high-purity electronic gas.
