Additives-assisted electrodeposition of fine spherical copper powder from sulfuric acid solution

TL;DR: In this article, the synergistic effect of additives towards the electrochemical recovery of Cu was illustrated using low-cost stainless steel cathode, and fine spherical copper deposited product was firstly obtained in the presence of two target-specific additives from dilute solution, and satisfied current efficiency is achieved.
Journal ArticleDOI

Loss of COX5B inhibits proliferation and promotes senescence via mitochondrial dysfunction in breast cancer

TL;DR: It is shown that loss of COX5B induces mitochondrial dysfunction and subsequently leads to cell growth suppression and cell senescence, which may provide a novel paradigm for the treatment which combined anti-cancer drugs with particular cytokine inhibitors such as IL-8 blockers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Relative Humidity Sensor Based on Cascaded Long-Period Gratings With Hydrogel Coatings and Fourier Demodulation

TL;DR: In this article, a Mach-Zehnder interferometer based on cascaded long-period gratings with a hydrogel thin-film coating is developed for monitoring the relative humidity (RH).
Journal ArticleDOI

Bimetallic gold-nickel nanoparticles as a sensitive amperometric sensing platform for acetaminophen in human serum

TL;DR: In this paper, a facile amperometric sensor for acetaminophen without any help of electrochemically active redox mediators and enzymes using bimetallic gold-nickel (AuNi) nanoparticles (NPs).
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Performance analysis of a time-division-multiplexed fiber Bragg grating sensor

TL;DR: The results of an investigation of the performance of a time-division-multiplexed fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor array using a tunable laser source are reported in this article.
