TL;DR: In this article, a conditional ERK3 transgenic mouse line was created to determine the role of ERK-3 in lung tumorigenesis, and the authors found that ER-3 overexpression cooperates with PTEN deletion to induce the formation of lung adenocarcinomas (LUADs).
