A Comparison of Traditional and Novel Methods for the Separation of Exosomes from Human Samples.
Yu Lili,Jing Zhu,Jinxia Liu,Feng Jiang,Wenkai Ni,Lishuai Qu,Runzhou Ni,Cuihua Lu,Mingbing Xiao +8 more
TL;DR: This review summarized and compared the available traditional and novel methods for the extraction of exosomes from human samples and considered their advantages and disadvantages for use in clinical laboratories and point-of-care settings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Wnt activation protects against neomycin-induced hair cell damage in the mouse cochlea
Lijuan Liu,Y Chen,Y Chen,J Qi,Yiyin Zhang,Yiyin Zhang,Yingzi He,Yingzi He,Wenkai Ni,Wenkai Ni,Weiliang Li,Weiliang Li,Shasha Zhang,Shasha Zhang,Shu-Na Sun,Shu-Na Sun,Makoto Mark Taketo,Luman Wang,Renjie Chai,Renjie Chai,Hong-Fu Li,Hong-Fu Li +21 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Wnt/β-catenin signaling has an important role in protecting HCs against neomycin-induced HC loss and thus might be a new therapeutic target for the prevention of HC death.
Journal ArticleDOI
The expressions and clinical significances of tissue and serum galectin-3 in pancreatic carcinoma.
Ling Xie,Wenkai Ni,Xudong Chen,Mingbing Xiao,Buyou Chen,Song He,Cuihua Lu,Xiaoyan Li,Feng Jiang,Runzhou Ni +9 more
TL;DR: Galectin-3 is overexpressed in pancreatic carcinoma tissues, and it is correlated with the tumor differentiation, and combined determination of these three markers has the complementary diagnostic value for human pancreatic cancer and may increase the diagnostic sensitivity to 97.5%.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bmi1 regulates auditory hair cell survival by maintaining redox balance
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that Bmi1 has an important role in hair cell survival by controlling redox balance and ROS level, thus suggesting that B mi1 may work as a new therapeutic target for the prevention of hair cell death.
Journal ArticleDOI
High expression of S100A11 in pancreatic adenocarcinoma is an unfavorable prognostic marker
TL;DR: The results suggested that S100A11 might be a significant tumor marker for pancreatic adenocarcinoma and an unfavorable predictor for prognosis of patients who have undergone surgical resection.
