Journal ArticleDOI

A Reconfigurable Microstrip Antenna With Radiation Pattern Selectivity and Polarization Diversity

TL;DR: In this article, a reconfigurable microstrip antenna with radiation pattern selectivity and polarization diversity is presented, where a four-way power divider made by three Wilkinson power dividers and interconnected with switches (currently copper strips for proof of concept) is designed to feed this antenna.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bandwidth Enhancement of SIW Horn Antenna Loaded With Air-Via Perforated Dielectric Slab

TL;DR: In this article, a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) horn antenna loaded with air-via perforated dielectric slab for bandwidth enhancement is proposed, which can enhance the impedance bandwidth of the antenna in much degree.
Journal ArticleDOI

Compact Wideband Dual Circularly Polarized Substrate Integrated Waveguide Horn Antenna

TL;DR: In this paper, a compact circularly polarized (CP) substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) horn antenna is proposed and investigated, and the measured results indicate that the proposed antenna operates with a wide 3dB axial ratio bandwidth of 11.8% ranging from 17.6 to 19.8 GHz.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Beam Scanning Leaky-Wave Slot Antenna With Enhanced Scanning Angle Range and Flat Gain Characteristic Using Composite Phase-Shifting Transmission Line

TL;DR: In this article, a planar beam scanning substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) slot leaky-wave antenna (LWA) is proposed for enhancing scanning range and gain flatness using a modified composite right/left-handed transmission line (CRLH TL) structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Low-Profile Dual-Band Dual-Mode and Dual-Polarized Antenna Based on AMC

TL;DR: In this paper, a dual-band dual-mode and dual-polarized (DBDMDP) antenna based on artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) is presented, which has a low profile property of 0.03λ0, as well as pattern and polarization diversity.
