Journal ArticleDOI

Asymmetric alkylation of N-acylsultams: A general route to enantiomerically pure, crystalline C(α,α)-disubstituted carboxylic acid derivatives

TL;DR: In this paper, the acylsultams were treated with nBuLi or NHMDS and primary alkyl halides, followed by crystallization, giving pure C(α)-alkylation products and enantiomerically pure alcohols.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chiral toluene-2,α-sultam auxiliaries: Preparation and structure of enantiomerically pure (2R)- and (S)-ethyl-2,1′-sultam ☆

TL;DR: In this paper, X-ray diffraction analyses of sulfinamide 8 and sultam (R)-2 are presented, and the results show that sultams are highly diastereoselective.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intramolekulare [4 + 2]‐ und [3 + 2]‐Cycloadditionen in der organischen Synthese

TL;DR: In this article, a number of beispiele intramolekularer cycloadditionen of 1,3-Dienen, Nitronen, and Azomethiniminen bezeugen den praparativen Werts zur regio-and stereoselektiven Synthese anellierter sowie uberbruckter Ringsysteme.
