TL;DR: The large number of alleles shared exclusively between Ha Giang chickens and junglefowl, as well as the results of a Bayesian clustering analysis, suggest that gene flow has been taking place from Junglefowl to Ha Giag chickens.

Large extent of mitochondrial DNA transfer from Oreochromis aureus to O. niloticus in West Africa.
TL;DR: A comparison of allozyme and mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) polymorphism was performed on sympatric and allopatric populations of these two tilapia species, Oreochromis niloticus and O. aureus, pointing out the risk of misinterpretation of mtDNA or nuclear DNA data when only one single class of marker is used.
