Melamine foam/reduced graphene oxide supported form-stable phase change materials with simultaneous shape memory property and light-to-thermal energy storage capability
Haiyan Wu,Song-tai Li,Yao-wen Shao,Xin-zheng Jin,Xiao-dong Qi,Jing-hui Yang,Zuowan Zhou,Yong Wang +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel form-stable phase change material with solar-to-thermal energy storage ability and thermal/light-actuated shape memory property was prepared, where paraffin wax (PW) served as a latent heat storage material and a switching phase for shape fixation, melamine foam (MF) acted as a supporting material to prevent the leakage and a permanent phase to shape recovery, and reduced graphene oxide (RGO) assembled on MF skeletons worked as a light absorption medium.
Journal ArticleDOI
Melamine foam-templated graphene nanoplatelet framework toward phase change materials with multiple energy conversion abilities
TL;DR: In this article, a composite phase change material (PCM) was fabricated based on commercial melamine foam (MF) incorporated by the graphene oxide (GO) and graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs).
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrospun Fibrous Membranes with Dual-Scaled Porous Structure: Super Hydrophobicity, Super Lipophilicity, Excellent Water Adhesion, and Anti-Icing for Highly Efficient Oil Adsorption/Separation.
Di Zhang,Xin-zheng Jin,Ting Huang,Nan Zhang,Xiao-dong Qi,Jing-hui Yang,Zuowan Zhou,Yong Wang +7 more
TL;DR: It is expected that the novel electrospun composite membrane with dual-scaled porous structure and nanoraised structure on each fiber can be used in oily wastewater treatment under various conditions through one-off adsorption or continuous oil/water separation, especially under low environmental temperature condition.
Journal ArticleDOI
Melamine Foam-Supported Form-Stable Phase Change Materials with Simultaneous Thermal Energy Storage and Shape Memory Properties for Thermal Management of Electronic Devices.
TL;DR: With high thermal energy storage capability, excellent shape memory properties, shape designability, and stable cycling reliability, this multifunctional MF/PW PCM shows a promising application in thermal energy management systems.
Journal ArticleDOI
Flexible MXene-coated melamine foam based phase change material composites for integrated solar-thermal energy conversion/storage, shape memory and thermal therapy functions
Yao-wen Shao,Wen-wen Hu,Meng-hang Gao,Yuan-yuan Xiao,Ting Huang,Nan Zhang,Jing-hui Yang,Xiao-dong Qi,Yong Wang +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a flexible heat eye-patch was further developed, which could be closely attached on human eyes and provided long-time thermal comfort within a stable temperature range, and the three-dimensional MXene network constructed along the MF skeleton imparted the PCM composites with the ability to absorb and store the solar energy as latent heat.
