Flexible, multifunctional, and thermally conductive nylon/graphene nanoplatelet composite papers with excellent EMI shielding performance, improved hydrophobicity and flame resistance
TL;DR: In this paper, a feasible and scaled method relating to vacuum-assisted filtration and compression-molding to fabricate nylon/graphene nanoplatelet (GNP) composite papers using commercial nylon gauze and GNPs was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Constructing cellulose nanocrystal/graphene nanoplatelet networks in phase change materials toward intelligent thermal management
TL;DR: The results showed that CNCs greatly enhanced the shape stability of the composite phase change materials (PCMs) while thermal conductivity was still maintained at high level, and the composite PCMs could be designed as the temperature stabilizing component exhibiting intelligent adaptive thermal management role, providing stable temperature condition for electronic devices in extreme environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bio-inspired polydopamine-assisted graphene oxide coating on tetra-pod zinc oxide whisker for dielectric composites
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel kind of hybrid particles with "core-shell"-like structure were fabricated via the polydopamine-assisted deposition technology, in which the tetra-pod zinc oxide whisker (T-ZnOw) was the core and the two-dimensional graphene oxide (GO) was a shell.
Journal ArticleDOI
Selective localization of carbon nanotubes and its effect on the structure and properties of polymer blends
Xiao-dong Qi,Jing-hui Yang,Nan Zhang,Ting Huang,Zuowan Zhou,Ines Kühnert,Petra Pötschke,Yong Wang +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the incorporation of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) into binary immiscible polymer blends is attracting considerable attention both from fundamental and application point of view, and a comprehensive overview about the notable recent progress in the field of polymer blend/CNT composites is provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
Largely enhanced fracture toughness of the PP/EPDM blends induced by adding carbon nanofibers
TL;DR: In this paper, a small quantity of carbon nanofibers (CNFs) were incorporated into polypropylene/ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer (PP/EPDM) blends.
