Journal ArticleDOI
Three-dimensional NiFe layered double hydroxide film for high-efficiency oxygen evolution reaction.
Zhiyi Lu,Wenwen Xu,Wei Zhu,Qiu Yang,Xiaodong Lei,Junfeng Liu,Yaping Li,Xiaoming Sun,Xue Duan +8 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that a three-dimensional architecture of NiFe layered double hydroxide (NiFe-LDH) significantly reduced the onset potential, yielded high current density at small overpotentials, and showed outstanding stability in electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ultrahigh Hydrogen Evolution Performance of Under-Water “Superaerophobic” MoS2 Nanostructured Electrodes
Zhiyi Lu,Wei Zhu,Xiaoyou Yu,Haichuan Zhang,Yingjie Li,Xiaoming Sun,Xinwei Wang,Hao Wang,Jingming Wang,Jun Luo,Xiaodong Lei,Lei Jiang +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that nanostructured MoS₂ films on conductive substrates show a faster hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), current increase, and a more-stable working state than their flat counterpart by significantly alleviating the adhesion of as-formed gas bubbles on the electrode.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hierarchical ZnxCo3–xO4 Nanoarrays with High Activity for Electrocatalytic Oxygen Evolution
TL;DR: In this article, a hierarchical ZnxCo3-xO4 nanostructures constructed with small secondary nanoneedles grown on primary rhombus-shaped pillar arrays were used for water oxidation.
Journal ArticleDOI
NiCoFe-Layered Double Hydroxides/N-Doped Graphene Oxide Array Colloid Composite as an Efficient Bifunctional Catalyst for Oxygen Electrocatalytic Reactions
Daojin Zhou,Zhao Cai,Xiaodong Lei,Weiliang Tian,Weiliang Tian,Yongmin Bi,Yin Jia,Nana Han,Tengfei Gao,Qian Zhang,Yun Kuang,Junqing Pan,Xiaoming Sun,Xue Duan +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, NiCoFe-layered double hydroxide (NiCoIIIFe-LDH) with Co3+ is grafted on nitrogen-doped graphene oxide (N-GO) by an in situ growth route.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metal oxide and hydroxide nanoarrays: Hydrothermal synthesis and applications as supercapacitors and nanocatalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reviewed recent progress in the research related to the hydrothermal synthesis of metal oxide and hydroxide nano-arrays, whose structures are designed aiming to the application on supercapacitors and catalysts.
