Journal ArticleDOI

Solid-solid reaction synthesis of covalent organic framework as a stable and highly active photo-catalyst for degradation of sulfathiazole in industrial wastewater

TL;DR: In this article, an environmentally-friendly ball milling method was applied to synthesize COFs (TpMA) by use of appropriate symmetry combinations (C3+C3) of building blocks (i.e., melamine (MA) and 1,3,5-Triformylphloroglucinol (TP)).
Journal ArticleDOI

Enlightenment from the COVID-19 Pandemic: The Roles of Environmental Factors in Future Public Health Emergency Response.

TL;DR: The role of environmental factors in future public health emergency response systems (PHERSs) has been discussed in this article, where the authors proposed to consider environmental factors before, during and after the responses to public health emergencies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Using deterministic and probabilistic approaches to assess the human health risk assessment of 7 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons

TL;DR: The incremental lifetime carcinogenic risks (ILCRs) of PAH7 for various population groups of different ages and sexes in the Bohai Rim region region (BRR) in China were assessed based on a multimedia multipathway exposure model using deterministic and probabilistic methods as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Difference in performance and mechanism for methylene blue when TiO2 nanoparticles are converted to nanotubes

TL;DR: In this paper, the difference in adsorption and photo-catalysis performance was analyzed using methylene blue (MB) as a model pollutant, and the results showed that TiO2 nanotubes exhibited low adsoreption capacity and greater photocatalytic activity for MB.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization, occurrence, environmental behaviors, and risks of nanoplastics in the aquatic environment: Current status and future perspectives

TL;DR: In this paper, the current research status of nanoplastics through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis was summarized and the research hotspots and future trends of NPs were identified, such as characterization, occurrence, environmental behavior, ecological toxicity, and human health risks.
