Highly Biocompatible Nanofibrous Microspheres Self‐Assembled from Chitin in NaOH/Urea Aqueous Solution as Cell Carriers
Bo Duan,Xing Zheng,Zhixiong Xia,Xiaoli Fan,Lin Guo,Jianfeng Liu,Yanfeng Wang,Qifa Ye,Lina Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: Chitin microspheres constructed using a "bottom-up" fabrication pathway showed a high attachment efficiency and the great potential of the NCM for 3D cell microcarriers, indicating the great possible of the nanofibrous surface and the inherent biocompatibility of chitin.
Journal ArticleDOI
SIRT3 a Major Player in Attenuation of Hepatic Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury by Reducing ROS via Its Downstream Mediators: SOD2, CYP-D, and HIF-1α.
Gaurav Katwal,Dilip Baral,Xiaoli Fan,He Weiyang,Xinjiang Zhang,Li Ling,Yan Xiong,Qifa Ye,Qifa Ye,Yanfeng Wang +9 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that activation of SIRT3 can suppress ROS production during IRI through various pathways and few of those are via SOD2, CYP-D, and HIF-1α, and this effect can improve the quality of the remnant liver following resection as well as a transplanted liver.
Journal ArticleDOI
Construction of cellulose–phosphor hybrid hydrogels and their application for bioimaging
Zhenggang Wang,Xiaoli Fan,Meng He,Zhiquan Chen,Yanfeng Wang,Qifa Ye,Hongjie Zhang,Lina Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: It is indicated that the PP particles were tightly embedded in the macroporous cellulose matrix, which not only supplied cavities for PP immobilization through relatively strong intermolecular hydrogen bonding interactions, but also supplied the pore wall as a shell to protect the structure and character of PP.
Journal ArticleDOI
Homogeneous synthesis of quaternized chitin in NaOH/urea aqueous solution as a potential gene vector.
Na Peng,Ziye Ai,Zehong Fang,Yanfeng Wang,Zhiping Xia,Zibiao Zhong,Xiaoli Fan,Qifa Ye,Qifa Ye +8 more
TL;DR: The results revealed that the QCs prepared in NaOH/urea aqueous solutions could be used as promising non-viral gene carriers owing to their excellent characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Decreased expression of mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase-2 induces liver injury via activation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway.
Zibiao Zhong,Shaojun Ye,Yan Xiong,Lianxi Wu,Meng Zhang,Xiaoli Fan,Ling Li,Zhen Fu,Huanglei Wang,Mingyun Chen,Xiaomin Yan,Wei Huang,Dicken S.C. Ko,Yanfeng Wang,Qifa Ye,Qifa Ye +15 more
TL;DR: Low expression of AL DH2 and high rates of apoptosis in the livers of brain‐dead donor rabbits were found and decreased ALDH2 led to apoptotic in HUVECs through MAPK pathway.
