Multicenter Study of Temporal Changes and Prognostic Value of a CT Visual Severity Score in Hospitalized Patients With Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

TL;DR: A CT visual severity score is associated with clinical disease severity and evolves in a characteristic fashion during hospitalization for COVID-19 and a prognostic model based on this score and clinical variables has strong performance in predicting in-hospital complications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dec1 Deficiency Ameliorates Pulmonary Fibrosis Through the PI3K/AKT/GSK-3β/β-Catenin Integrated Signaling Pathway

TL;DR: Findings indicated that during PF progression, DEC1 played a key role in EMT via the PI3K/AKT/GSK-3β/β-catenin integrated signaling pathway and targeting DEC1 may be a potential novel therapeutic approach for IPF.
Journal ArticleDOI

Plasma IL-36α and IL-36γ as Potential Biomarkers in Interstitial Lung Disease Associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis: a Pilot Study in the Chinese Population

TL;DR: Using IL-36 cytokines to identify patients with RA for further ILD workups may provide additional diagnostic value to the current clinically available assays, and the lungs originating from different types of patients with PF, including RA-ILD and IPF, and those from mice following bleomycin-induced PF were characterized by increased IL- 36γ expression.
