Journal ArticleDOI

Ocular toxicity of reduced graphene oxide or graphene oxide exposure in mouse eyes

TL;DR: The findings show that short‐term repeated GO exposure can cause obvious intraocular inflammation, an incrassated corneal stromal layer, cell apoptosis in the cornea, iris neovascularization and significant cytotoxicity of rat cornean epithelial cells, while RGO causes no significant ocular toxicity in mice.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lycium barbarum Polysaccharides Protect Rat Corneal Epithelial Cells against Ultraviolet B-Induced Apoptosis by Attenuating the Mitochondrial Pathway and Inhibiting JNK Phosphorylation.

TL;DR: Investigation of the protective effect and underlying mechanism of LBPs against UVB-induced apoptosis in rat corneal epithelial (RCE) cells showed that LBPs significantly prevented the loss of cell viability and inhibited cell apoptosis induced by UVB in RCE cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

The protective study about alleviation of simvastatin on the damages of PEG-BNs in mice.

TL;DR: After simvastatin (SST) exposure to the PEG-BNs model mice, the damages and biochemical indexes were recovered significantly as compared to the single exposure group mice in serum, which indicates a good treatment effect on the toxicity of PEG -BNs in vivo in mice.
