Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of copper nanoparticles with controllable crystallinity and their photothermal property

TL;DR: In this article, well crystallized Cu nanoparticles with diameters of about 80nm were successfully prepared in aqueous solution via simply reducing copper salts by sodium hypophosphite at presence of hydrochloric acid, and with polyacrylamide (PAM) as the capping agent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Superior Nonlinear Optical Response in Non‐Centrosymmetric Stacking Edge‐Rich Spiral MoTe2 Nanopyramids

TL;DR: In this article , a structurally novel spiral MoTe2 (s−MoTe2) nanopyramids with unique and superior nonlinear optical response is reported, enabled by their broken inversion symmetry, weak interlayer coupling, exciton resonance, and strong light-matter interaction from the edge-rich 3R-like quasi-multilayer structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of neutron irradiation and high temperature on structure and magnetic properties of Sm2Co17 permanent magnet

TL;DR: In this article , the effects of neutron irradiation and high temperature on the magnetic properties and structure of Sm2Co17 permanent magnets (PMs) were investigated, and the phase composition and Mössbauer spectra of PMs were almost kept the same.
Journal ArticleDOI

Establishing a Relationship between the Piezoelectric Response and Oxygen Vacancies in Lead-Free Piezoelectrics.

TL;DR: Based on Rayleigh analysis, thermal/electric field-induced domain response (ferroelectric scaling), and macro-microstructural characterization, Wang et al. as discussed by the authors concluded that the transient piezoelectric response and the aging process are significantly affected by the oxygen vacancy concentration.

Microstructures and Magnetic Properties of Single-Step Deposited Ce:YIG/YIG Bilayer Films With Different Layer Thickness Ratios

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used pulsed laser deposition (PLD) to grow yttrium iron garnet (Ce:YIG) bilayer films with different thickness ratios.
