Journal ArticleDOI

Comprehensive understanding of the superior performance of Sm-modified Fe2O3 catalysts with regard to NO conversion and H2O/SO2 resistance in the NH3-SCR reaction

TL;DR: In this article, a citric acid-assisted sol-gel method was used to synthesize Fe0.94Sm0.06Ox catalysts with a homogeneous distribution of Sm in Fe2O3 nanoparticles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Doping effect of Sm on the TiO2/CeSmOx catalyst in the NH3-SCR reaction: structure–activity relationship, reaction mechanism and SO2 tolerance

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of doping Sm species into CeO2 for selective catalytic reduction of NO by NH3 (NH3-SCR) was investigated, and the results of catalytic tests displayed that the catalyst with the optimal molar ratio (Ce : Sm = 20´:´1) exhibited the best deNOx performance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Understanding the high performance of an iron-antimony binary metal oxide catalyst in selective catalytic reduction of nitric oxide with ammonia and its tolerance of water/sulfur dioxide

TL;DR: A novel Fe-Sb binary metal oxide catalyst was synthesized using the ethylene glycol assisted co-precipitation method and was characterized using a series of techniques, finding that the catalyst with a molar ratio of 7:3 displayed the best NH3-SCR activity with 100% conversion of NOx over a wide temperature window and with good resistance to H2O + SO2 at 250 °C.
