Preparation method and use of compounds having high biocidal activities
TL;DR: In this article, a kind of nitro methylene derivatives as well as their preparation method and use were revealed, showing that the present derivatives not only have high insecticidal activities on injurious insects such as aphid, leafhopper, plant hopper, thrips, whitefly and their resistant breeds, but also effective to Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus.

Divalent and oxabridged neonicotinoids constructed by dialdehydes and nitromethylene analogues of imidacloprid: design, synthesis, crystal structure, and insecticidal activities
TL;DR: A series of divalent and oxabridged neonicotinoids synthesized by reactions of nitromethylene analogues of imidacloprid and dialdehydes indicated that some of them were endowed with excellent insecticidal activities against cowpea aphid, armyworm, and brown planthopper.
