TL;DR: Anthropometric parameters such as body weight, body mass index, and body fat percentage as well as FBS and circulating triglycerides were all decreased significantly at the end of Ramadan compared with the same indices measured prior to Ramadan.

TL;DR: Although VAI might not be very cost-beneficial compared to IDF, the study showed VAI is a better predictor of MetS than BRI in adults and ABSI was not a suitable predictor for MetS.
