Hydro-sensitive sandwich structures for self-tunable smart electromagnetic shielding

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate hydro-sensitive smart sandwich structures with self-adaptable electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding ability via constructing polymeric porous non-woven-based spacers into highly conductive pyrolytic graphite papers.
Journal ArticleDOI

From nanoscale to macroscale: Engineering biomass derivatives with nitrogen doping for tailoring dielectric properties and electromagnetic absorption

TL;DR: In this paper, a unique three-dimensional nitrogen doped carbon monolith was demonstrated to understand the effects of the nitrogen doping on the dielectric and microwave absorption performance, and a modified Cole-Cole plot was plotted for guiding the chemical doping and material process, aiming to realizing the best matching conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Smart mechano-hydro-dielectric coupled hybrid sponges for multifunctional sensors

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel mechano-hydro-dielectric coupled graphene oxide hybrid sponges are proposed to integrate the physical and chemical approach into a smart material.
