Biocompatible and Biodegradable Materials for Organic Field-Effect Transistors
Mihai Irimia-Vladu,Pavel A. Troshin,Melanie Reisinger,Lyuba Shmygleva,Yasin Kanbur,Günther Schwabegger,Marius Bodea,Reinhard Schwödiauer,Alexander V. Mumyatov,Jeffrey W. Fergus,Vladimir F. Razumov,Helmut Sitter,Niyazi Serdar Sariciftci,Siegfried Bauer +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a pathway for the fabrication of biodegradable, biocompatible, bioresorbable, or even metabolizable products from nature, or materials found in common commodity products.
Journal ArticleDOI
Indigo - a natural pigment for high performance ambipolar organic field effect transistors and circuits
Mihai Irimia-Vladu,Eric Daniel Głowacki,Pavel A. Troshin,Guenther Schwabegger,Lucia Leonat,Diana K. Susarova,Olga Krystal,Mujeeb Ullah,Yasin Kanbur,Marius Bodea,Vladimir F. Razumov,Helmut Sitter,Siegfried Bauer,Niyazi Serdar Sariciftci +13 more
TL;DR: The OFETs and complementary-like inverters are among the best reported organic devices to date, in terms of mobility, voltage gain, symmetry, p-and n-type channel balance, low operating voltage window and high ON/OFF ratio as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vacuum-processed polyethylene as a dielectric for low operating voltage organic field effect transistors.
Yasin Kanbur,Mihai Irimia-Vladu,Eric Daniel Głowacki,Gundula Voss,Melanie Baumgartner,Günther Schwabegger,Lucia Leonat,Mujeeb Ullah,Hizir Sarica,Sule Erten-Ela,Reinhard Schwödiauer,Helmut Sitter,Zuhal Küçükyavuz,Siegfried Bauer,Niyazi Serdar Sariciftci +14 more
TL;DR: This work shows that high-quality gate dielectrics consisting of polymeric materials can be vacuum-processed and supports low-hysteresis transport in C60 and pentacene.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanical, flow and electrical properties of thermoplastic polyurethane/fullerene composites: Effect of surface modification of fullerene
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of surface modifications of fullerene on mechanical, melt flow and electrical properties of TPU based composites was investigated. And the best results were obtained in nitric acid and silane modified fullerenes containing composites at the lowest concentration (05%) higher MFI values were observed for composites loaded with surface treated fullererenes compared to pristine fulrerene because of their better dispersion in TPU.
Journal ArticleDOI
Stability of Selected Hydrogen Bonded Semiconductors in Organic Electronic Devices.
Mihai Irimia-Vladu,Mihai Irimia-Vladu,Yasin Kanbur,Yasin Kanbur,Fausta Camaioni,Fausta Camaioni,Maria Elisabetta Coppola,Maria Elisabetta Coppola,Cigdem Yumusak,Cristian Vlad Irimia,A. Vlad,Alessandra Operamolla,Gianluca M. Farinola,Gian Paolo Suranna,Natalia González-Benítez,María del Carmen Molina,Luis Fernando Bautista,Heinz Langhals,Barbara Stadlober,Eric Daniel Głowacki,Niyazi Serdar Sariciftci +20 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that when the purity, the long-range order and the strength of chemical bonds, are considered, then the Hydrogen bonded organic semiconductors are the privileged class of materials having the potential to compete with inorganic semiconductor.
