Journal ArticleDOI

Reinforcing the corrosion protection property of epoxy coating by using graphene oxide–poly(urea–formaldehyde) composites

TL;DR: In this article, a modified graphene oxide (GO) coating was prepared by anchoring a prepolymer of urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin onto GO sheets through in situ polycondensation.
Journal ArticleDOI

A study on corrosion protection of different polyaniline coatings for mild steel

TL;DR: In this article, the emeraldine base and salt (hydrofluoric acid and camphorsulfonic acid doped) forms of polyaniline (PANI) were synthesized and added to be epoxy coating.
Journal ArticleDOI

Graphene oxide–poly(urea–formaldehyde) composites for corrosion protection of mild steel

TL;DR: Graphene oxide-poly(urea-formaldehyde) (GUF) composites were prepared by anchoring a prepolymer of urea−formaldehyde resin onto graphene oxide (GO) sheets through in-situ polycondensation as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Influence of submicron-sheet zinc phosphate synthesised by sol–gel method on anticorrosion of epoxy coating

TL;DR: Submicron-sheet zinc phosphate (SZP) was synthesized by sol-gel method as discussed by the authors, which can reduce defects in the coating, improve consistency of pigment/resin interface and lengthen diffusion pathways.
