Study on the separation mechanisms of photogenerated electrons and holes for composite photocatalysts g-C3N4-WO3

TL;DR: In this paper, the separation mechanisms of photogenerated electrons and holes for composite photocatalysts have been investigated by ball milling and heat treatment methods, and the performance was evaluated by degradation of methylene blue (MB) and fuchsin (BF) under visible light illumination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Design of a direct Z-scheme photocatalyst: Preparation and characterization of Bi2O3/g-C3N4 with high visible light activity

TL;DR: The results showed that Bi2O3/g-C3N4 exhibited a much higher photocatalytic activity than pure g-C 3N4 under visible light illumination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ball milled h-BN: an efficient holes transfer promoter to enhance the photocatalytic performance of TiO2.

TL;DR: The results indicated that the photocatalytic activity of TiO(2) could be improved substantially by coupling with a proper amount of milled h-BN, and the role of the milling process and the mechanism for the enhancements was finally discussed in terms of creation of negatively chargedh-BN surface and promotion the separation of photoinduced holes, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and characterization of direct Z-scheme photocatalyst Bi2O3/NaNbO3 and its reaction mechanism

TL;DR: In this article, a facile ball milling method using NaNbO 3 and Bi 2 O 3 as precursors was used to obtain a high photocatalytic activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication and characterization of novel Z-scheme photocatalyst WO3/g-C3N4 with high efficient visible light photocatalytic activity

TL;DR: In this paper, a Z-scheme photocatalyst WO3/g-C3N4 with high efficient visible light photocatalytic activity was prepared via ball milling and heat treatment methods.
