Preparation and performance of cellulose acetate/polyethyleneimine blend microfiltration membranes and their applications

TL;DR: In this paper, a modified microfiltration membrane has been prepared by blending a matrix polymer with a functional polymer, which was then crosslinked by polyisocyanate in a mixture of solvents, and the effects of the time of phase inversion induced by water vapor, blended amount of PEI and amount of crosslinking agent on membrane performance were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of a novel polysulfone/polyethylene oxide/silicone rubber multilayer composite membrane for hydrogen–nitrogen separation

TL;DR: In this article, a polysulfone/polyethylene oxide/silicone rubber (PSf/PEO/SR) multilayer composite membrane was fabricated by double coating poly sulfone substrate membrane with poly methylene oxide and silicone rubber.

Composite hollow fiber membrane and its preparation and application

TL;DR: A composite hollow fibre membrane based on the composite resistance Henis membrane model (silica rubber/polysulfone membrane) for separating H2 or N2 with high effect is composed of basic membrane, water-soluble high-molecular layer in rubber state at ordinary temp and silica rubber layer as mentioned in this paper.
