Reductive Amination of Furanic Aldehydes in Aqueous Solution over Versatile Ni y AlO x Catalysts.

TL;DR: The Ni6AlOx catalyst prepared by coprecipitation for the reductive amination of biomass-derived aldehydes and ketones in aqueous ammonia under mild reaction conditions exhibited 99% yield toward 5-aminomethyl-2-furylmethanol in the reaction of 5-hydroxymethyl furfural with ammonia.
Journal ArticleDOI

N-Monomethylation of amines using paraformaldehyde and H2

TL;DR: For the first time, a selective N-monomethylation reaction of amines with paraformaldehyde and H2 in the presence of a CuAlOx catalyst is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Alcohol Amination Catalyzed by Copper Powder as a Self-Supported Catalyst.

TL;DR: Catalytic alcohol amination is a sustainable reaction for N-alkyl amine synthesis and copper powder is found to behave as an active catalyst, giving better catalytic performance than metal-oxide-supported nanocopper catalysts.
Journal ArticleDOI

The catalytic dehydrogenation of ethanol by heterogeneous catalysts

TL;DR: In this paper, a mini review of the recent developments of the heterogeneous catalytic dehydrogenation of ethanol is provided, which is considered an efficient, clean, and renewable energy source.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative analyses of American and Asian lotus genomes reveal insights into petal color, carpel thermogenesis and domestication

TL;DR: In this article , the 843-Mb genome of American lotus was assembled into eight pseudochromosomes containing 31'382 protein-coding genes and 29'533 structural variants (SVs).
