Journal ArticleDOI

Performance of VERA in 10 micro-arcsecond astrometry

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the performance of the VLBI Exploration of Radio Astrometry (VERA) through the parallax measurements of five distant star-forming regions under good observing conditions of close separations and high elevations.
Book ChapterDOI

Polar Motion Effect on Gravity Observed with a Superconducting Gravimeter at Syowa Station, Antarctica

TL;DR: In this article, the amplitude factor (δ-factor) of 1.198±0.035 and a time lag about 20 days against to the gravity changes predicted from the IERS (International Earth Rotation Service) polar motion data were analyzed using the 2 years data obtained with a superconducting gravimeter at Syowa Station, Antarctica.
