Journal ArticleDOI
Hemorrhagic shock resuscitation with an artificial oxygen carrier, hemoglobin vesicle, maintains intestinal perfusion and suppresses the increase in plasma tumor necrosis factor-α
Akira Yoshizu,Yotaro Izumi,Sungick Park,Hiromi Sakai,Shinji Takeoka,Hirohisa Horinouchi,Eiji Ikeda,Eishun Tsuchida,Koichi Kobayashi +8 more
TL;DR: Results indicate the proficient oxygen transporting capability of HbV and its potential efficacy in shock resuscitation and major differences were seen in systemic hemodynamics.
Journal ArticleDOI
ADAM28 is a serological and histochemical marker for non-small-cell lung cancers.
Hiroaki Kuroda,Satsuki Mochizuki,Masayuki Shimoda,Miyuki Chijiiwa,Kazunori Kamiya,Yotaro Izumi,Masazumi Watanabe,Hirohisa Horinouchi,M. Kawamura,Koichi Kobayashi,Yasunori Okada +10 more
TL;DR: There was a positive correlation between the ADAM28 level measured by ELISA system and the degree of immunostaining in the lung adenocarcinomas with a size of ≤20 mm in diameter, suggesting that ADam28 is a useful serological and histochemical marker for NSCLC.
Journal ArticleDOI
Curcumin induces autophagy in ACC-MESO-1 cells.
TL;DR: It was speculated that induction of autophagy was at least in part involved in the reduction of cell viability by curcumin, and it was found thatCurcumin dose‐dependently reduced cell viability but did not induce apoptosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diagnostic performance of percutaneous core needle lung biopsy under multi-CT fluoroscopic guidance for ground-glass opacity pulmonary lesions
Yoshikane Yamauchi,Yotaro Izumi,Seishi Nakatsuka,Masanori Inoue,Yuichiro Hayashi,Makio Mukai,Hiroaki Nomori +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the diagnostic performance of percutaneous core needle lung biopsy under multi-CT fluoroscopic guidance for ground-glass opacity (GGO) pulmonary lesions was evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dissection of lung parenchyma using electrocautery is a safe and acceptable method for anatomical sublobar resection
Takashi Ohtsuka,Taichiro Goto,Masaki Anraku,Mitsutomo Kohno,Yotaro Izumi,Hirohisa Horinouchi,Hiroaki Nomori +6 more
TL;DR: The use of electrocautery for intersegmental plane dissection appeared to be safe with acceptable postoperative complications and effective in reducing costs.
