Journal ArticleDOI
High improvement in the properties of exfoliated PU/clay nanocomposites by the alternative swelling process
TL;DR: In this paper, a stable de-aggregated solvent-swollen organic modified clay, ALA-MMT, suspension is prepared by an efficient solvent swelling process using a home-made shaking mixer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Advanced environmentally friendly coatings prepared from amine-capped aniline trimer-based waterborne electroactive polyurethane
TL;DR: In this paper, Electroactive waterborne polyurethane (EWPU) containing conjugated segments of electroactive amino-capped aniline trimer (ACAT) unit was successfully prepared and characterized.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photoactively electroactive polyamide with azo group in the main chain via oxidative coupling polymerization
Hsiu-Ying Huang,Yu-Ting Lee,Lu-Chen Yeh,Jhong-Wei Jian,Tsao-Cheng Huang,Hsin-Te Liang,Jui-Ming Yeh,Yi-Chen Chou +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a photoactively electroactive polyamide was synthesized through reacting ACAO with p-phenylenediamine by oxidative coupling polymerization, followed by characterization with GPC and 1H NMR.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of photoisomerization on the electroactivity and electrochromic behavior of aniline pentamer-based polymers with azo chromophore as reversibly switchable pendant group
Hsiu-Ying Huang,Jhong-Wei Jian,Yu-Ting Lee,Yi-Ting Li,Tsao-Cheng Huang,Jung-Hsiang Chang,Lu-Chen Yeh,Jui-Ming Yeh +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, an aniline-pentamer-based electroactive poly(azine-azo) (EPAA) coating prepared by oxidative coupling polymerization is presented, where the photochemical reaction switch can be photochemically reverted by reirradiation at a different wavelength and a photoreaction is used that is thermally reversible.
